For those who don't know, this is Wilbur, a geriatric draft horse that my husband and I rescued and rehabilitated for the past few years. When we rescued Wilbur he was hundreds of pounds under weight, his feet had thrush and multiple abscesses, he was arthritic, and his hock had been broken.

It took a very long time for him to trust people again but he blossomed into a true gentle giant, and is a favorite of everyone who meets him! In his advanced age, Wilbur requires a large amount of routine daily care including multiple medications and supplements -

Extra dental visits, extra farrier visits, accuscope therapy, bodywork, physical therapy and more. Anything he ever needs, we find a way to make sure he is always as comfortable as can be. We are now unfortunately facing the difficult point of our journey where we are likely approaching -

The end of our time with him. We have a quote from our vet, and we are unfortunately looking at a bill roughly around a couple grand upfront. We do not want to compromise on him having the absolute best care up until the very end - and I don't like asking for outright donations -

So the least I can do is entertain you all so we can help him. Even if you do not have the means to support the stream monetarily, spreading the stream's info or just coming and hanging out would mean a lot to us! ❤️
