I've succeeded in being normal about it so far but sometimes. Sometimes I get a little annoyed that a past moot's current popular OC shares a Chunk of design elements with an old character of mine they were very familiar with. Just makes me feel a tiny bit nutso

morally speaking I'm Not into thought policing inspiration, I think it can and should come from art peers. Just sucks to feel like I can't draw an old oc of mine without inviting comparison to a vastly more popular character. feels weird and bad

Hope one day you feel comfortable enough to draw them again. Is it OK to ask which character? DMs are open if that's preferable than a public setting.
