The whole Tekken 6 thing is funny to look at from a distance for me because 1) I hated T6 anyway, and 2) apparently it's vibecoded with some people showing very funny videos of it in action.

As for the whole piracy thing, I have opinions but I'd need to write a whole book report on the matter and social media's the worst place to wanna post this stuff. I'm including bsky for my and everyone else's sake. What I will say is the amount of xenophobia this issue always brings up is tragic.

At this point Tekken players are extremely desperate, they eat up whatever they can get. And at least Tekken 6 is not "Back to basics" as Bandai envisions it.

I'm not anti-pirating at all, but people have absolutely no clue how IP, copyright, localization, businesses, etc. work in the slightest. The majority of the reasons people say they are pro-pirating are completely incorrect and bad reasoning.

Yeah it's a VERY loaded topic involving business/cultural/historical/legal points that a lot of people want to glaze over. I don't feel like adding fuel to the fire + I really would need to compile everything I wanna say in an organized manner that I can't be assed to bother with lmao
