Since C/C++ also has quirks and weird syntax, Python may feel right at home. Significant white space creates strictness that gives the warm feeling of fighting a YAML file until it finally gets accepted. The ergonomics of a C/C++ compiler without actually compiling (including verbose stack traces)

C has weird syntax? Compared to what?

Those who can stand `#define` can also stand `__init__` (granted that is the preprocessor, but it is everywhere)
