Some photos of our recent film shoot in Indonesia for our video for Episode 21, on the Empire of Majapahit. Really excited to share the results with you all when it's done! All reenactment footage we use is 100% real, with human actors and costumes, and always will be!

Had never heard of this before, sent a screenshot of the description to my dad, who immediately responded with a novel series and citations for a book about the world's oceans that mentioned it. I am definitely not the best read person in my family lol.

for when you need a reference kept only in a box in the back of an archive, past a leopard.

When I was in grad school I put a ‘noah lab supplies beware of the leopard’ sign on our stockroom expecting the occasional sensible chuckle and NOTHING.
