It's me, a Telegraph columnist, taking a break screaming bloody murder about fairness in the women's sports I wouldn't be caught dead watching to wax lyrical about academic integrity in sociology, a field I consider to be fake, at institutions I consider to be communist indoctrination centers.

bsky.app/profile/keta... Hey, maybe one of the reasons Cambridge initially and incorrectly circled the wagons around Arday is that you people are fucking insane? That doesn't excuse it? Fair enough, I guess we'll never see another "the excesses of the left made me go fash" story from you, then?

This is the coverage of Arday **just in the Telegraph** in the UK. This is only the first four pages of results, just in one outlet.

It's almost like the Telegraph are so known for being foaming racists that it's a more rational response to assume anything they publish is racist nonsense than that any actual information has been revealed.

Fun fact: I did once many years ago write an opinion piece in the Telegraph arguing that it would not be contrary to the spirit of Brexit to delay its implementation until after Covid to avoid piling disruption on disruption. It was not well received.

Gove and Raab ( when the Spaffer was in hospital) were thinking about accepting an EU offer of an unconditional years extension to transition, in order to do just that. Cummings got wind of it and dashed back to London from his self imposed quarantine to kill the idea off.

The spirit of Brexit. Oh, that made me laugh. Looking forward to the day when we just consign it to history as a baseless idea. I mean, today is a good day for that. As good as any other.

Very good ☝️ As you say, what can we do about it. And what we need to do I think is to remind why the society needs for example inclusive policies: because such policies are a net positive for society (and the economy as productivity goes up). And we need to demand 1/2

2/2 And we need to demand our progressive politicians (Andy Burnham?) to make precisely this case. And the case for independent institutions. There is no other way.
