Spent the weekend at the NW Rallycross association season final in rural eastern Washington. It’s wild how fun this sport is. We’re learning so much about braking and momentum, and how to slide the fiesta through the muck and dust. We’ve improved so much over the course of half a year.

We did a half day class and a one day class last year. We loved it, and realized rallycross was the best way for us to get more seat time. That said, while they helped, you’d still have a lot of fun without that foundation.

We’re also learning about what happens if you pack 5 gallons of fine dust directly against the radiator. And what happens if you boil coolant. The Fiesta is fine! Well, other than the radiator fan, but we still finished our Sunday races, and ended on an amazing high note.
