Random dialect musing: Is “Work party” (gathering folks to work together on a task) a West Coast term? A Washington state term? American English? I didn’t encounter it before firing kilns here in WA state, but maybe that was simply being young. A South African friend laughed at the very idea.

It’s definitely a nonprofit euphemism for envelope stuffing in exchange for snacks 😂
