I don't know who needs to hear this but the first draft of anything I write is dogshit. The only reason anything I've written has resonated with anyone is multiple rewrites and long hours staring at the screen not knowing how to say something.

For contrast - only publishing when you have something to say might mean you never build up the skills to articulate properly. Writing is the only solution to getting better at writing. It's why I made a "notes" carve out on my blog for less edited pieces.
