I want to brain dump my thoughts about Dressmaker because I LOVE dressmaking IRL and holy crap major kudos to the devs. Easily the best representation of sewing in games I've ever seen

- I was stressed out in exactly the same parts of sewing and cutting that stress me out IRL (in a good way though lol). Sleeves are exactly that evil. God bless long skirt seams - Sewing on a keyboard is hilarious but it feels just right

- The SATISFACTION of getting a pattern cut in the smallest space possible is insane - It was really entertaining to me to imagine sewing dress pieces in any which order lol. The absolute chaos that would cause! Understandable adaptation tho

- A little sad there's no pressing because PRESSING MAKES QUALITY irl!! I love ironing lol I might be in the minority though - I love dress up. Dress up is life - The elision of seam finishing and hemming lightens my soul lol

- Once again I love dress up Thank you devs this is absolutely lovely (and honestly a nice replacement for actual sewing when my RSIs are being prohibitive, truly)

Also I accidentally spent a ton of money on like seven meters or tweed and this is basically exactly how I operate in real life so 💯💯💯
