Nine days after 1.2, EmDash 1.3 is out. Every saved version now shows exactly what changed, and your live site gets the admin's editing tools. One switch also asks AI crawlers not to train on your content. Here's what's new!

Revision history is finally readable. Pick a version and it opens in the editor, with each person's changes marked in their color and listed in plain words. Restore sits in a bar at the bottom.

Editing on the page now works like the admin editor. Select text for the same toolbar, or type / for grouped blocks with Markdown shortcuts. Type /image to pick from your Media Library.

A new switch in the SEO settings asks AI crawlers like GPTBot and ClaudeBot not to train on your site. EmDash adds the rules to robots.txt, and search engines are unaffected.

Pages on Cloudflare D1 make fewer database round trips. New sites from our templates send reads issued together in one round trip. Existing sites can turn on the experimental option with one line.

The admin speaks Croatian now, and Polish, French and German are complete. Every date and time in the admin also follows its language, right to left included.

WordPress imports bring much more across, from permalinks and server-rendered blocks to Advanced Custom Fields. And Contributors can now edit their own drafts.

That's a wrap on EmDash 1.3. 87 changes went into it, from 16 community contributors and the core team. Thanks, everyone! Upgrade with one command. npx upgrade-emdash@latest The full release notes are on the blog. emdashcms.com/blog/emdash-...
