Part of me is very concerned at the idea that paying anything to some app could then be used to subsidize or fund generative AI. I know that I don't really get to choose how my money is spent on a piece of software, but seeing apps announce new AI features knowing I partly subsidized it feels bad.

Welcome to why i uninstalled Waveform, because they're adding generative AI features in v 14... and while technically DaVinci "HAS AI" it's external API features mostly, and I hate openshot and I hate Capcut more.
