Thing is… will we have our word to say about it… cuz for the moment the AI race looks more like an appropriation of the human know how for the benefit of a select few Currently, the whole purpose of the technology is NOT progress of humanity but enrichment of the feudal lords

Changing this would require a major shift of the economic model to something that would look like Ostrom’s Commons and not a privilege only accessible by the “elite” WYT?

In other words, if we just “consumers” of the technology, we’ll end up its slave… The only way out would be some form of cooperative, that you know very well, where we would not just be users but stakeholders And IMHO this is definitely not the path we are currently walking on
