never ship your game. worst thing you can do

by all accounts this was a disastrously managed production where it only managed to ship at all due to a massive crunch from the staff that remained so this is so cruel. thanks for bailing us out now fuck off

microsoft funds genocide, fills their dev pipelines with ai slop and throws all the people who actually make the video games into the street. i cannot imagine, even if you are politically sheltered and just want your treats, ever buying and supporting an xbox game. theres no future here

At minimum, Xbox will not be here by the end of the decade. I wouldn't rule out Microsoft going, between the insane AI investments that won't pay off, the profitable businesses they're slashing to cover those costs, and the drive by many governments to liberate themselves from its ecosystem

My only fear is if microsoft dies so does github. Which is problematic for a whole host of reasons.
