It's super fun to do the two truths and a lie thing with physics because nobody ever believes that Murray Gell-Mann named quarks as a reference to Finnegan's Wake by James Joyce. And like, I can't come up with anything goofier than Penzias and Wilson calling pigeon poop "white dielectric material".

Exotic differentiable structures on the 4-dimensional Euclidean space R^4 were discovered in 1982 by Michael Freedman et al; since then such exotic structures have also been found on all higher dimensional Euclidean spaces R^n (n >= 5) as well.
