Or server side events maybe? Web sockets are a big undertaking in my experience 😃

Quite possibly! I am wanting real-time collaboration too so I am just trying to scope out what would be better in this case Websockets are great! I've plenty of experience using them and setting them up :D

Ahh I see! Makes sense then, I’ve been eyeing up automerge for a while but not built anything with it before, just I know Ink & Switch wrote it and they do good work
