the first boss crushed me last night. Any tips to beat her?

Be in the air! Her side swipe will generally miss you if you're doing an air combo, and that's the hardest one of her attacks to dodge. You can keep swinging away, and only need to dodge to the side if it's going to be a down-slam.

Dodge makes you temporarily invincible. The Artist has few options when you're up close, get familiar w/ those so you can time your dodge to avoid damage. Sometimes a simple jump is all you need. There's something you can do to avoid her big showcase attack. Try to do that. You got this!
