How about that name, Furgeddaboutit... what other con has such a good name? Well sorry to bring back critical looks for this long thread about mismanagement of Garden State Fur the Weekend @gsftwofficial.bsky.social Here's something new I didn't expect, even with how horrible things have been...

A tipper sent me posts by Shy Matsi, 2024 chair for GSFTW, made this fall, where he's hanging out for kink fun with a Furry Raider named Tuskyn. Real name David Allen James, recidivist registered sex offender, twice convicted for CSAM. He was also active with the 2018 zoosadist ring of Kero infamy.

Archived Shy Matsi post of hanging out with Furry Raider sex offender Tuskyn. archive.ph/tup7x

Tuskyn was convicted in 2005, then again in 2022 for sex offending again. 17 years wasn't enough to change him. In that time he made friends with people like Foxler of the Furry Raiders. Tuskyn was just 7 months fresh from prison while palling with GSFTW's 2024 chair Shy Matsi. His registry listing:

Look, it's not always incriminating when you don't know what's going on and have a private oops. It's another thing when Shy held a position of trust that was repeatedly violated by inviting in Furry Raiders and other predators while vocally sympathizing with them as deserving space they don't.

GSFTW's 2024 chair Shy Matsi showed only disregard for protecting the community from the presence of nazifurs and the predators among them, like his friend Tuskyn, even when Tuskyn's recidivist criminal history is open knowledge. x.com/NazifurRecei...

There's plenty of sources about the Furry Raider sex offender Tuskyn and his criminal history that was welcome to mingle with GSFTW's 2024 chair Shy Matsi. It's easy to find on Wikifur. en.wikifur.com/wiki/Tuskyn

If you want to dig deeper into the Furry Raiders activity by sex offender Tuskyn, friend of GSFTW's 2024 chair... There's a whole channel of receipts of Furry Raiders praising and defending Tuskyn. t.me/PedoRaiders

You know what they say, lie down with dogs, wake up with fleas. (I resemble this comment, but I would never hang out with a Furry Raider. 🤮) Add one more tally mark to the seemingly never-ending list of creeps infesting GSFTW and palling with its management. Will this get creepy excuses by Sotalo?

Once again, it's one thing to make a mistake... it's another thing to negligently and repeatedly let anything in without screening, and vocally sympathize with the worst and most malicious actors, while having a position of trust as con chair. Here's more proof that GSFTW should never have existed.

While we're looking at GSFTW's chair Shy Matsi inviting recidivist sex offender Furry Raiders for kink fun, Shy's friend and hand-picked propaganda mouthpiece has other concerns. What a dichotomy of their priorities vs. the community's.

More of the many ways that GSFTW ignores and misuses the community, posted today. x.com/SmallCollie/...

Boy, they're really going with the theme of "oops I tripped and fell into a Nazi podcast!" In an entire fandom full of artists and organizers, how many can they find with such poor records? Who will they pick next, 2 the Ranting Skinhead? Kero? x.com/NazifurRecei...

Archive of NIIC, the new GSFTW pick for GOH, appearing on the Furry Raiders podcast. Like their founder Dashing did. archive.ph/VzK11

Yesterday when I wrote "Will this get creepy excuses by Sotalo?" the answer is yes. Of course he'll make excuses. It's his entire life. And WOW it gets CREEPY. bsky.app/profile/dogp...

Here, Sotalo prattles on and on, billion-IQ gaslighting style, towards a question about his support for giving porn to minors. Notice how he always tries to make it about LGBT identity and changes "porn" to "furry art" to give himself slippery deniability. AS IF WE CAN'T SEE THE ORIGINAL QUESTION.

GSFTW's chosen damage-control PR guy Sotalo goes on and on about giving porn to minors... God this man needs to get a real job and stop exploiting fandom spaces.

The incredible moment, when a GSFTW board member - (who Sotalo was brought on to do damage-control for) - has to step in to do damage-control for Sotalo promoting porn for minors.

It's been a while since I commented about the ongoing exodus from GSFTW spaces. At last count their Telegram group was down to 450 from a high of 500. Now it's at 416. The most active fraction will exit first. These death throes are ugly... when will this walking corpse realize it's past saving?

Speaking of problematic: Scooby - the Florida fur now playing chair of a New Jersey con - isn't on his first sinking ship. Scooby had been Vice Pres of the fizzled Soda City Fur Con, under a self-confessed zoophile who ran it into the ground. What a record. bsky.app/profile/dogp...

Who's going to be the next problematic chair when this one becomes too hot to handle? I've been tipped on some eye-opening things that aren't being published... Yet!

Same old crap with a new face bsky.app/profile/silv...
