Control Resonant Series X Does it play offline? Yes Does it require a download? Yes Big disappointment here. Only the tutorial is on disc, similar to the PS5 release for Oblivion, or Hogwarts Legacy. Upon leaving the Oldest House, you are prompted to download the rest.

Yes please let me know if this is the same for the PS5 version. I want to support Remedy, but I can’t back partial data on disc.

I started Resonant from the PS5 disc today and left the tutorial area before the day 1 patch was fully downloaded. It worked, I could keep playing at the point where the XSX version demands the download.

Imagine waiting an extra couple weeks cause remedy delayed the physical release only to finally get it and you have to download it anyway. What a load. Thankfully the ps5 version seems to actually be on disc.

Is this confirmed? I'm so shocked that the xbox version it's not on the disc

There is a video in the replies showing the ps5 disc has a playable build at 84GBs

Are you going to analyze PS5 version? From my part I know everything is inside the disc but not the other languages, but I would love your post. Fun how many people can't read its only from Series X because you are comparing PS5 key discs as Oblivion.
