Friendly international tourists used to ask me for directions! Alas, I was a tourist in London myself! That didn't stop me from trying to help.

I used to have a copy of the London Tube map on me, so in that regard I could help. I also helped people with prams up some of the staircases. I think I walked too fast to be asked for directions on the surface.
