I'm back from PulpFest. It amazes me that 29 years ago I drove to Bowling Green, OH and met the Doc Savage fans I had been talking to online. Who could have guessed I'd be doing this in 2026? And with BlueSky I seem to be meeting so many (new to me) Doc fans. #docsavage #pulpmags

Geeze, hard to believe the newsgroup days were that long ago.

It lost it's luster for me after Jim Gould's hand grenade of a post with the Bleeding Sun fun. Wished I could have taken control of it and smoothed it all out. But he wanted to take offense, and there we had it.

You tried. And in the end, it turned out well. I mean, I saw "To Die Under a Bleeding Sun" sell for over $500 on ebay. I just wish I was the one selling it. :)
