The only good part about DHS is that we found out during 9/11 that the military branches and intelligence had no alignment and very few solid communication connections between them. We need the communication piece without the homeland tyranny

As evidenced by the 'good' party's biggest sticking point is seemingly not anything on the other side but instead that a Muslim could become mayor of New York.
