Algorithmic Choice! This "For You" feed by @spacecowboy17.bsky.social is what it's all about. You don't have to use Discover. Other people can make great algorithms.

Please add drag and drop to the feed tab bar, it’s annoying to have to go to another page to re-order the feeds and it makes me not want to add more or use them also a long press to unpin them

also please add a way to make some feeds behave like subreddits, twitter communities do seem to work for getting people who like a particular topic to post there

Do you propose copying twitter? How would that relate to feeds? People have been using feeds base on hashtags but those are easily spammed, which lowers the utility. There was some discussion here: bsky.app/profile/dana...

feeds that can be posted to there’s “feed logic can scan for words or hashtags” but that is prey to spammers stuffing keywords/hashtags Want more of a “you sub to this type of feed, you have the option to share your post with this feed or post to it, mods can remove you if they don’t like you”

Say I am posting an RPG-related tweet, there would be an interface to let me share it with the RPG feed I am in, and then if it’s unrelated feed mods can boot me

i posted a bit about some (existing) ideas around that which i would've loved to see shipped

Right now Reddit has an interface with the + button, where you have a dropdown to select the subreddit to post to along with the post I want that but for feeds the new post button exposes an interface to post to a feed instead of/along with your personal page please isolate me from the boomers
