Melbourne friends, gonna be in melbourne later this month Feb and looking for recommendations for a place to host a bit of a lunch to catch up with friends and some infosec folk who are around? Suggestions for places that could take a moderate reservation of maybe upt to ~10 peeps

I have very limited exposure but i think it heavily depends on location - you probably want Southbank or middle-CBD to get closest to the most offices? I've been to Yarra Botanica, a restaurant-boat on the Southbank Promenade and it's quite pleasant and pretty convenient.

We have our SMBiT meetings at the Bells hotel south Melbourne, short tram ride out of the city it has a good menu and some nice dining alcoves that would seat 10,
