Some of us realized we were in a period of democratic backsliding at 2:29 a.m. EST on Nov. 9, 2016.

I’m not sure why, but so many people don’t seem to be aware of WTF is going on between Russia and the U.S. Russia and the U.S. are being publicized as being allies against Europe…. If this is remotely true - I can’t begin to imagine what the consequences will be, but it’ll be a nightmare.

Authoritarianism always starts with the voter rolls. Purge the registrations, control the outcome, call it reform. We are watching it happen in real time and too many people are still pretending this is normal politics.
