BREAKING: The DOJ asked an appeals court to review a lower court block on its nationwide effort to acquire states’ voter data to purge alleged noncitizens from the rolls. The appeal comes after a pro-voting group asked a judge to evaluate whether the DOJ’s effort in California violates the order.

I don’t understand why DOJ has its mitts in elections when states have the primary authority over election administration! Why are the courts entertaining their blatant attempt to take away that constitutional right?
