Maybe he can express his voting for him and RFKJr. Knowing they weren’t qualified or morally acceptable.

Bill Cassidy is an idiot.

I can predict the future if he can’t. Blanche will do everything Trump wants and will do many unconstitutional actions to undermine the November elections.

Also Sen. Cassidy......"There are few times in a career you get to kiss the great one's fat arse by allowing him to nominate complete-sycophantic-morons (RFK, now Blanche) into roles they are completely unqualified for." No wonder this cuck cried when questioned about his votes. He was soooo proud.

Is every Republican trying to ride a dead beaten horse?

The decision couldn’t have been more black and white if it had been a border collie named Oreo ffs. Cassidy owns this and will be remembered as a traitor to what once was the democratic republic known as the USA.

He just wants that lobbyist money.

Not black or white? What's supposed to be "white" here? Cronyism?

Too bad Blanche is a newly hatched lifeform and doesn't have a history of previous actions or a resume that suggests where his allegiance lies.

Poor guy, has trouble differentiating between black and white

You took a calculated risk knowing what the likely result would be. Don't pretend that this is not down to you. Coward!

Does he seriously want absolution for the second worst vote in history (the one for RFK Jr being the first)?

Except it was, and you failed. Don't give these failures airtime to try and rehab their image.

He's so overqualified to be so consistently dumb

His family should be freed from the basement where they were held hostage by now…

Yeah, that is where things are at.

I think you can predict the future in this case. You voted to confirm an untrustworthy man whose loyalty is ONLY to Trump...not the American people. Sen Cassidy had the option to say "no"...he had doubts, but put those aside for reasons only he knows. Now, he'll be remembered as a spineless coward.

So you voted for someone who you aren’t sure will hold up the constitution. Then you walk away and leave the American people to deal with it. F**k off.

🤡🤡🤡

Cassidy said that we know Blanche is bad but the next nominee might be worse, so yes on Blanche. Why not “NO” on all bad nominees?

I can predict Cassidy's future.

Total turf his whole time in the Senate. Anxiety my ass.

He acted like it.

Either a coward or compromised

🚨Single-handedly? Hardly. BOTH of Ohio’s Republican Senators, Bernie Moreno and Jon Husted, voted FOR Blanche. #voteJONout2026 #OhioBlues #RepublicansAreTheProblem

I don't care if it is an appointment to be a dogcatcher, if you cannot answer a resounding "Yes" to will this person uphold the Constitution, that is an automatic No vote from me

I guess, with med school and your busy practice, Bill, you never got around to reading Faust--it's a shame because it shows what happens when you sell your soul to the devil

Then WHY CONFIRM HIM, BILL? #ArrestBlanche

His wife's special-need school might be safe now. Might be.

What a crock!!!

All of them witches.

What a damn TRAITOR!

If the dude hasn't figured it out by now, well, there's an example of the failure of our education system. OK, well, I guess, unless you're corrupt as sin.

The gray is the stuff they have on me

If you really have to think about whether or not a US AG nominee is going to uphold the constitution, maybe you shouldn’t have voted to approve his nomination.

We find it interesting that Cassidy does not understand pitchforks and the movement of many many many people, of We The People. How is that possible.? Oh yeah, he's a Republican Republicans are dumber than an 🍊Trump doorknob. Maybe he understands this>FTR-- the world is ALL for a new Nuremberg

Jacka$$

Eff off, Cassidy! Wonder what they had on you.

Well, trump shit-canned him, and now Louisiana voters will, predictably, vote in someone even worse.

Blanche promised a future even Cassidy could predict.

Just another so-called "doctor" in congress who decided their Hippocratic Oath of doing no harm is not an oath at all but merely a suggestion he can ignore.

We know he won’t and so does he. FFS. This is his legacy.

Fuck this guy.

Traded in his value for a political end. PATHETIC COWARD‼️

I’d love for a journalist (I assume there is one somewhere on face the nation) to ask “What does that even mean, this is not a black or white decision?

Doofus Cassidy is like Susan Collins…. he has “concerns”. No. Blanche is totally unqualified to clean up after my dog takes a dump. He should be nowhere near DoJ or any court. Hopefully the movement to have him disbarred will render him neuter after his stint with the PedoPrez.

You should have voted NO, NO, NO...

Anybody else notice that the women in the senate are much braver than the men? Collins and Murkowski are much stronger than Cassady, Willis, and Cornyn. Why are Republican men so much weaker than their women?

Is it in a Cracker Barrel?

He should know Blanche cares nothing about the Constitution.

Guess he took the Hypocrites Oath instead of the Hippocratic Oath.

The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Trump is in the #EpsteinFiles, by the way.

Cassidy is a moron, why would you believe blanche he is already breaking the law, by not releasing the trumpstein files. Every one of the cowardly GOP magats need to be voted out. Thank God Cassidy, Cornyn, and Tillis are on the way out what a bunch of corrupt assholes.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict there will be some 'problems' with Blanche and the Constitution. We won't even have to wait until the elections. He's already doing it.

Imagine being so deep in a cult that you do things you know are wrong just to appease the cult leader.

Yet he still voted for his appointment

Actually, the decision was clear as a bell: a vote against Todd-the-Thug Blanche meant protecting what remains of the constitution and the rule of law. Cassidy is not experiencing "existential anxiety," but a bad conscience for having sold his soul to Trump. I cannot hear one more Qusiling excuse.

Gee, that used to be disqualifying from the get go. An AG who MIGHT NOT uphold the Constitution? That was a nonstarter. Now the GOP votes for them and hopes for the best.

If you can't say with confidence that the AG you supported will uphold the constitution, then you should have said "No". Easy as that.

Then why vote for him?

Yes, it is black and white based on Blanche's history. Ever heard of the Epstein files?

So Upholding the constitution is not a black or white decision? What is it then?

Cassidy failed an open book test. Fuck off bill.

It’s called foresight. FFS. He knows. He fucking knows what he did. The bigger question is what did Trump and his klan threaten him with. He looked scared.

f him. We know who he is.

ALL LOGIC, it is because of RACE or $. Its not the"R" they're voting for. Its the "W", as in WHITE and the "G" as in GREED that motivates them. They'll pretend there are other factors. But WHEN PEOPLE PLEDGE AN OATH, some would RATHER DIE,THAN RENEGE. OATHS ARE KEPT! UNLESS you're Republican.

Doofus Alert.

Another candidate for the future “Profiles of Cowardice” that needs to be written to chronicle the Decline of America.

Exactly.

You fkn pussy ass COWARD.

Blanche will do what he is told by tRump and tRump doesn't give a crap about the Constitution. He would throw it in the garbage if he thought he could get away with it beacuse it blocks him from doing whatever he wants.

Can't imagine an easier or more black and white decision.

Fuck him.

Of course you can. You use past performance and stated doctrine to determine a sensible outcome. In this case, Blanche is a toadie. A loyalist who will put trump before the law. We already know that's the case and I doubt the competence and character of any member of Congress who says otherwise.

It's not whether Todd Blanche will do the right thing that's causing his anxiety. He knows that answer. The anxiety is coming from knowing that WHEN Blanche sets a torch to the constitution - he will be blamed.

The lying treasonous coward Cassidy knows he is lying. We all know that the traitor and pedophile protector Todd Blanche will not uphold the Constitution.

Fuck that guy nonstop for eternity.

All bs.....all the time

Does yes or no now come with a binary colour chart in the hypocrites world? It’s called a binary choice. He chose yes

He can fucking predict the future We can fucking predict the future His face demonstrated he had seen the future his vote would bring, it scared him, it emasculated him, and he voted for it anyway Everything the mfer says is just ad nauseum bullshit now

I've grown desensitized and no longer satisfied watching the metaphoric moments when the "leopard eats the face" of these FECKLESS FOOLS. We need actual leopards now. STAT.

He's an opportunist. If he truly can't see something that obvious, he lacks the intelligence to walk down a hallway alone. Cassidy isn't that dumb, so he must have been presented with an offer he couldn't refuse. The question is, what was the offer?

This was a black and white decision.

Yes. Yes, it is indeed a “black and white” sitch. He will uphold the constitution (fwiw) or he will protect his audience of one. It’s just that simple. And we all know which way these cards will be cut.

It's the Congressional #GravyTrain Get elected & the power & great salary & lifelong benefits just ain't enough. So they need as many yrs in Office as possible to garner future Board seats (6 or 7 figure salaries post-Congress). Then some stay until they die. It's all cray-cray.

when in doubt-don't

He is as evil as all the repubs are. Every single one of them.

He needs to just stop talking. No one can predict the future, but we already know what the past looks like with the president's personal lawyer being in charge of what now is the Department of Injustice.

Exactly!
