Great info!! Emailed them immediately explaining my belief that the inclusion of voters will improve the effectiveness of Governance, and it's clear that is not wanted now.

To all those saying "drop boxes are the answer" - how do you RECEIVE your ballot in the first place? In my state (WA which is all vote-by-mail), we receive our BALLOTS by US mail.

It strikes me there has to be some statute on this subject. But what do I know *shrug*

The normal routine is; the carriers collect the ballots. If time isn’t in their favor.. They send a CCA (City) RCA (rural) to collect the outgoing mail. Take it to City Hall for the ballots to be in on time.. I don’t know what the hell the Post Office is doing now. But then again; they don’t care.

We had a red-hat torch a drop box outside of our elections department. I guess he assumed there were no pro-GOP ballots in the box. The news gave the date and time it happened so people could check if theirs was collected or burned.

I'll do it, but I am not sure they're open to public input in any meaningful way. Not only does this again inject politics into the postal service, it opens the door to even more controlled speech. Is mail addressed to a Democrat in office? Is this a check being sent to a "woke" charity? FUCK 'EM
