seemingly the case & the day the right dishonorable ’justice’ roberts has lusted after since he lost that #SCOTUS case in the ‘80’s? his life’s work has scratched the long lusted #gop reagan-era intentional discrimination itch, unerringly steering his anti-democratic super-majority toward king rule.

"What Constitution?" "It's just a piece of paper". "What Declaration of Independence?" "Just another piece of unimportant paper". Our rights are being drained away, like the flushing of a toilet. How long are "We the People", going to take this shit? If this continues, how do we stop it?

They need to have term limits not a lifetime pass. If they don’t know that an all expenses paid vacation or a large chunk of cash is unethical for a Supreme Court justice to accept then impeach them. Stop wringing your hands and not taking action.

States lawmakers should step in and declare that a ruling of a dirty openly corrupt SC decision is NOT applicable in the states. Lawlessness is a double edged sword. if the court incites lawlessness states will follow their one laws.

Meanwhile they are gerrymandering the people of Arizona legal choice. To avoid releasing the Epstein files. Makes you wonder how many little children donald trump molested and abused to make them want to cover it up this much. And this far

While it is good to see many who are now stepping up in defense of democracy, Marc Elias and Democracy Docket have long been in the vanguard of Democracy's Army, leading us all in battle to defend our core rights as Americans. I am proud to be a supporter. Thank you Marc & team.

📲And to our social media connoisseurs: we’ll be live-skeeting here! Turn on Democracy Docket’s notifications, or check back in to ensure you don’t miss any updates on this critical case.

9:50 AM ET: Democracy Docket is on the ground at the Supreme Court this morning, where they’re covering a rally hosted by LDF, ACLU and ACLU of LA. Hundreds have turned out, and the energy is very lively.

10:00 AM ET: We’re minutes away from oral arguments kicking off. Democracy Docket’s Managing Editor Zachary Roth says, “Callais presents a huge threat to minority voting power, and that matters regardless of partisanship. But it also presents a huge threat...to any notion of fair elections.”

10:10 AM ET: Thomas opens questioning of Janai Nelson, the lawyer defending the map. The new map was drawn after a court ruled LA's old map would likely violate the VRA in a PI hearing. Thomas suggests he might just rule that the map can't be redrawn on a PI and ignore the question here entirely.

Ok real talk guys. What are we going to do if this goes through? Could they get a filibuster proof majority? How do we fix it? A gerrymandering war maybe? We need ever blue state to super gerrymander to counteract the effects? I can't think of anything else. (Not rhetorical wtf do we do!?!?!?)

The result of this in my opinion is going to depend who that corrupted court fears more. They obviously don't give shit about established laws because most of them seem to be financially compromised.
