Given that Germany is funding a “significant portion” of the Starlink network in Ukraine, I inquired with both the German MoD and the Federal Foreign Office about the current situation with Starlink/Starshield.

A MoD spokesperson only told me that they did not wish to comment on the Ukrainian claims, and would also decline to comment whether they are in touch with the governments in Kyiv and Washington, or with SpaceX, regarding finding a solution to the situation.

From what I've seen and know there is no indication or proof that Germany funds Starshield, as it's controlled by the US military/government.

I guess that Germany as well as other European countries are doing their best duck act, looking calm on the surface but underneath working furiously to sort out what is happening and how to deal with it

So we can assume that efforts to bring melon "The Ketaman" and turd "The Krasnov" to at least some common sense (until his next call with poo'tin "The Killer") and restore Starlink's previous availability are taking place?

I would say just because they don't want to comment on it, that doesn't mean they are not doing it. I guess time will tell.
