🎉🎉🎉 Today we're launching not one but two (!) new chart types tailored for specific audiences: waterfall charts and dual-axis charts. They're available as part of our new Business plan. Let's have a closer look ⬇️

First, waterfall charts. They're are all about the journey, not the destination. How did we land at our 2025 profit? Why did the sales team end the year not bigger, despite five new hires? Waterfall charts plot all the ups and downs in sales, revenue, inventory, employees, and more.

Next, dual-axis charts. They're great for showing metrics on very different scales — like customers in the thousands and customer satisfaction in %.

Dual-axis charts got a bad rep in the data vis community, and yes, they're easy to misread. So we also published an article on when to use dual-axis charts (and when not), and, more importantly, how to make them less misleading: www.datawrapper.de/blog/dual-ax...

We put a lot of effort into building the best possible editors for both dual-axis and waterfall charts, and we can't wait for you to try them. They're both available as part of our new Business plan. Learn more about the new pricing structure we launched today: www.datawrapper.de/blog/pro-and...
