What does the title #DesignEngineer mean to you? I'm putting together an article and I'd love to hear what your thoughts are, especially in relation to #DesignSystems. Boost for reach? 💜

We don't have such a role at Crytek, but whenever I read the requirements for such a position in job boards, I interpret it as "engineer with design sensibilities", rather than "technical minded designer who codes"(which is my profile).

You're not the first to say this, others have been developers who don't think they have the design skills. Maybe you're putting yourself down too much? 😊

Haha no, I don't even consider applying to these positions. I'm glad in my designer role. 🙂 It's just that I identify a lot of dev-specific skills and just a couple of design-specific skills whenever I read these job postings out of curiosity.
