it's like trying to pass off a sandwich with bits of meat in it that have been dyed to look like vegetables as suitable for vegans

Except they haven't dyed the vegetables. It's just a menu item called a "Vegan Sandwich" that arrives with two slices of bologna and a piece of cheese and when you say "what the fuck" they say "don't worry, it's vegan"
