If you believe the release. Unlikely anyone is gonna do the weeks or more of FOIA work to answer that question on what is basically small time theft but it's probably in the emails, messages etc. Thats the gamble that many state and local agencies make now. Because for them it's low risk high reward

Like it's not credible they can't figure the last time they had a hit off those cameras to state definitively when each was last in use. They don't need to say appears to be in that window.

I understand holding stuff back for investigative purposes but they know, and the person who stole/wrecked them knows what time those came down. It's a silly thing to hide
