russians don't have dash cams because of state collapse, they have dash cams because insurance fraud is so rampant that insurance companies offer discounts to people with dash cams and in some cases don't payout claims without video evidence

dash cams have been in use in russia since the early 2000s, claiming that they're a sign of "state collapse" is so fucking stupid i'm not familiar with your work but do you make a point of making shit up and then doubling down when someone points out that you're wrong?
