I think Bluesky is still mostly tech/journalist people, it will take time to see sports and other stuff here

I know there is a big football analytics crowd, gotta put together a starter pack

There’s plenty, but it’s very local to hashtags and starter pack folks for specific clubs. I follow Norwich city - #ncfc - plenty there. I expect it’s less developed for football as a topic in and of itself, unless you go via specific big name journalists and outlets.
