Migration went really well. Running on OpenCode using Deepseek v4,1 Flash on Go for less than a day. Less than another $1 for review by GLM 5.1 Flash. Very happy with the result. Now can go back to adding features. 🧑🏻‍💻 #buildinpublic #deno #fresh #tanstack #opencode #deepseek #glm #migration

The cheap Flash model only looks this good when the harness stays thin. OpenCode keeps the baseline small, so Deepseek is not burning half the budget on scaffolding before it touches your code. Migration is the right stress test: one day, one pass, then features again.

I was using Deno Fresh to have native Typescript without the transpile step. After Cloudflare bought the team and they announced no more updates to Deno from them after a year, I rather migrated now before adding new features. 👨🏻‍💻

Under $2 for a full migration plus review is wild. Did the cheap model need much hand-holding on the edge cases, or was the GLM review pass where most of the fixes came from?

DeepSeek was very correct. We also had OpenSpec documentation for the whole project that could be used. The review surfaced just small things.
