this @jsheroes.io will be really incredible 🔥 ... what an amazing agenda there is!

I love the welcome & pitch from @alexmoldovan.dev about the purpose of the conference: - pragmatic - friendly I'm here for it. ❤️

now the inimitable @philhawksworth.dev is talking. the last conference we both spoke at, I was complimented on his talk several times. I'll be doing my best to pull off another true hawksworth impression this time.

absolutely loving the talk from @mkrl.xyz who is live reverse-engineering a website for fun (and profit??) this is the way

the next speaker is @danielroe.dev and I'm not sure it will be very good. I don't plan to listen to a word of it. 🤷

now it’s @tkdodo.eu - honestly I am here for anything he wants to say … and it happens he’s talking about deleting code so I’m even more on board 🔥

it’s a love letter to @webpro.nl - he’s deleting unused code live and it’s better than any asmr

hearing now from @ryantownsend.bsky.social about js and web performance! let’s make the web faster 🔥

after @twnsnd.com, we now have so many whoops for @craigabbott.co.uk talking about accessibility and ai now 🔥 “we’re all in the same boat” we are here for this …

believe it or not i totally agree with @cydstumpel.nl who is speaking now - you might not need javascript!

finally i am plotting how to get rid of some dependencies and replace them with node builtins in a great talk from @andreipfeiffer.dev 👀

day 2 is kicking off with @farisaziz12.bsky.social on keeping interactions _fast_ 🚀 (... just a few minutes after @tkdodo.eu and I were watching a loading spinner on my computer as I tried to browse some code)

the one and only @neciudan.dev takes the stage to talk state + @tanstack.com query - the amount of love is real ❤️❤️❤️ I love that the whole talk is based on _real_ mistakes dan (or) his team made. I identify with this ...

enjoying @richargh.de talking about how visualisation can power spotting issues with software quality 👉 check out codecharta.com ...

coming on stage now is @zaboco.bsky.social ... he's talking about 'managed effects' = 'a new mental model' 👀 love it

now hearing from @anjana.dev … all about data sonification! (totally new term to me) … and live coding with the webaudio API in the browser - love it! ❤️

now the one and only @naugtur.pl … not, today, talking about security … but about the _weird_ and the joy of tinkering. YES.

coming next after the break is @siddharthdayalwal.bsky.social on cognitive load i really think this is the kind of thing we should be talking about more often, particularly in an age of ai if only i had the brain space to do so 🤔

couldn’t think of a better finish for the conference than @noopkat.fragile.systems anti-obsolescence ftw 👉 making things that last, and making things last that we didn’t make
