How are people feeling unsafe here?

www.change.org/p/bluesky-mu...

Thanks. I have "bluesky" as a muted word here so it's why I probably missed it. I swear >50% of the posts here are about the platform itself

I am here because it doesn’t cause me constant rage - I’m happier here with people and peers who I want to succeed.

Bsky adoption will probably reverse if they start banning people for what they do off bsky. I can already feel how the discourse on bsky has been chilled recently and you can see it in the usage numbers too. I'd say any such policy is incompatible with VC funding that want ROI.

the chill you are feeling is caused by people not feeling safe.

That is not supported by numbers.

I'm pretty indifferent to the politics and I'm not high profile enough on x.com where blocking or muting people stopped working. I enjoy the ability to tinker. Only bsky.app and mastodon allow for modification and mastodon requires you to be both technically savvy and popular for results.
