Damn right it’s 8am and we’re putting on Fellowship of the Ring.

Fellowship continues to be wonderful. Quite incredible how much they fit into this one film – so much happens! Only thing that’s aged poorly is the very noughties digital colour grading, which makes everyone look weirdly peachy at times.

And “Wait Mr Frodo I’m coming with you!” *promptly drowns* is still hilarious.

After Fellowship came out, I had the first of an ongoing phenomenon of incorrectly dreaming a film I was looking forward to. To this day, my favourite scene in The Two Towers is when Frodo is fighting the gargoyles and his clone on top of the runaway train.

Now onto Two Towers, and I really need to rescind that “only thing that’s aged poorly” statement because good actual lord these films are WHIIIIIIIIITE.
