Are Copilot or Cursor good tools for someone just starting out on their coding/indie hacking journey? 👨‍💻 Or do they risk skipping essential coding foundational skills? I'm everywhere reading about how amazing these AI tools are, but I’m a bit skeptical. As someone who is still at the beginning.

I am also going through this period, I’d say it helps me more that I know how the AI code works. You don’t need to be an expert, just enough to understand, I am however pushing past the foundations so I don’t have to rely on AI

Are you still learning or already working as junior ?

I am looking for a job as a junior, learning as I go though. I don't think I'll ever stop learning
