Just watched an interview with Eric Weinstein in which he notes that he had been in Washington discussing the future of science in America with Trump administration officials Michael Kratsios, Jay Battacharya and Jim O'Neill, and if you're a science writer you should be writing about that insanity.

Beyond the weird views of those individuals, the most salient thing to note is that ALL OF THEM ARE FROM THE THIELVERSE. Literally, Peter Thiel is now in charge of the direction of science in the most powerful nation on Earth.
