We're in that part of the year where we're doing that Seinfeld 'Master of My Domain' episode, only with turning the heating on. Like if you're still Lord of the Manor, RT if you're already out.

"Hey Siri, turn on my office heater." <- a thing I really resent having said today.

Still King of the Castle. Might get a warmer jumper out, mind you. Either that or close a window. #SpeirGorm

I'm very very sorry. This is going to be a disappointment to a lot of you. But I have, in fact, put the heating on. I cannot apologise enough. #speirgorm

I'm usually much better at this game. In some years the Halloween decorations have been up or almost up by time I caved to the lure of the boiler. I'm disgusted with myself, I really am.

Every time I touch the boiler, my dead Da's ghost whispers in my ear to put on a bloody jumper cos he's not made of money, do you see? So I am very good at resisting! He haunts me everytime I turn on a light too, it's like the Middle Ages in my house!
