I love this. Senate candidate Annie Andrews says she decided to jump into the race the day RFK Jr was nominated to lead HHS. She’s a pediatrician. Saw what was coming & decided she couldn’t sit on the sidelines. THIS is what I’m talking about. Feeling called to serve & actually following through.

I do love much of what she stands for. But it's still business as usual when it comes to Dr. Andrews' support for her potential LGBTQ+ constituents of SC. I see her joke about a closeted gay man, but fail to see her defend the LGBTQ+ community, or work to end the stigma of being gay in the south.

SC resident here. Hoping the chaos around the passing of Senator Graham doesn't mess up the fight that Dr. Andrews was going to give him. Not ashamed to say I'm glad he's gone. Hoping for turnout at midterms.
