I almost feel sorry for Queen Dani...The seppies are out to remove her. The referendum shows they are a small % of the pop....but they control a large # of UCP ridings. I hope the UCP explodes from the inside...will finally show "Who they are" and we can get a govt. that works for the other 79%.

Hmmm.. I say, better the devil you know than the devil you don't. A large swath of UCP membership voted her in as leader cuz they believed her to be a separatist. By removing her, the extremist elements within the party will push to replace her with an extremist separatist

These referendum results are a rebuke of Danielle Smith and the Alberta Conservative Party in general. Danielle Smith must now call a snap election and give Albertans a chance to express their opinion about this referendum and her government. Albertans should kick the Conservatives out.

Unfortunately it didn't backfire on her. She got what she wanted, pretty well all yes votes for question 1 -9. She knew separation was dead in the water. It was just a strategic bluff to open the door for questions 1 - 9.

The separatists will be pissed but still support her where it appears 8 of the 9 other questions are about to pass and that was the real trojan horse to expedite the Maple MAGA transfer of ideology to policy.
