Neuromancer was the first science fiction novel that I truly loved. At least back when I was in high school and college, it felt like something truly different: a vision, dark and cool, gritty, far from utopian but not quite dystopian.

A world worth visiting but never a place you’d want to live, where the story was more than just a vehicle for the author to show off a clever thought experiment. I’m curious to see how this 40-year old novel will be translated into a TV series.
