Sometimes, #animation cuts are just a still image of very detailed #art. When that happens, it only makes sense for me to go a little extra! For one sequence in Castlevania Season 3, I was in charge of plussing a very... intimate moment, so here's some steps that went into that 😳🙈💖 #compositing

With this cut in particular, since the image was a still frame, I had the liberty to go the extra mile and separate Lenore's hair into "fields," allowing me to give her hair some extra dimension. Last 2 images, you can compare not having that extra depth w/ the final result~!

I love when these moments happen, where there's limited motion and it's a special moment you can enhance even more, quickly enough.

Haha thank you! JJBA does it a lot and it makes for some excellent sakuga, big inspiration for my work in cuts like this. Especially parts 4 and onward, they really dressed up the still frames! It can be really fun to break up the forms and carve out depth 🤗 (Also love how you plus ur HB cuts!!)
