Really reminds me of the BC payments the Horgan government sent through ICBC, that went only to drivers. Terrible use of funds.

The current situation is basically what the NDP has been waiting for my entire life, and I can't believe they're being so meh about things. Be bold, scare the old rich people. Give the young people hope that's backed up by something that could work, rather than watching them flock to Pollievre.

I dream of a Federal NDP who would pop in at this point, and make an announcement about how ineffective these piecemeal efforts are. Then announce their plan to take a serious swing at dealing with affordability and income inequality by imposing wealth taxes and inheritance taxes, and whatever else
