cobalt 11 brings on-device media processing, huge performance improvements, and refreshed ui local processing is enabled for all desktop users starting now, so you can enjoy best compatibility with players and editing tools, no extra remuxing required :) cobalt.tools

local processing brings: - best file compatibility - detailed download progress - faster processing - better reliability - and reduced load on public instances it's really cool, and we're happy to finally release it for everyone!

aside from local processing, we updated the web app a lot. everything looks better, feels better, and loads faster than ever before! we migrated parts of frontend to svelte 5, which improved rendering performance even more. it's beautiful!

in this update, we also improved everything related to turnstile. from now on: - the annoying popup is gone, it was replaced with a small tooltip above the input bar - cobalt takes care of everything for you. no need to wait for turnstile to complete, just paste the link!
