I thought the UK won the prize for shooting itself in the foot when it voted to impose sanctions on itself with Brexit but the USA is in entire league of its own when it comes to stupidity and self harm.

It is so sad that Canada needs to respond like this. I sincerely hope that the decent Americans who would never vote for a scumbag like Trump understand we need to protect ourselves from this global bully.

And now, Americans will buy from China and Canadians will do the same!!! Who wins? Hey USA, wake the fuck up

Canada doesn't negotiate with pedos who shit themselves in public.

I,ve always admired Mark Carney, giving trump the finger is a wonderful touch. A few more so called leaders need to take heed of how to deal with a fukwit.

World leaders, take notes! The way Canada reacts is the way you react against the diaper toddler and his felloz toddlers in the White House, kindergarten nowadays...

It's fine. Trump is taking care of business by renaming a lake. 😆

Doesn’t Canada now have a free trade agreement with Europe? This would be an opportunity to show that full ratification makes sense. It would even send a positive signal to Trumpistan. With a 50 per cent tariff, European goods are cheaper – whether they’re imports or exports. 😉

They stand up to bullies. Respect.

We should also add a “Your President is an Idiot” tax.

Something to think about... Canada supports Ukraine. Canada doesn't support Russia/Putin. Is this why that ugly American, convicted felon, international terrorist Trump is attacking Canada and it's economy... as he is buddy with Putin?

Agree...as the US appears incapable of removing the cancer that is destroying their country and very aggressively attacking the globe...with exceptions of course, no need to name them

They should go into effect immediately. Don’t wait.
